Five Things To Take Into Account When You’re Considering A Conservatory

15 May 2017

The Spring is the perfect time to start thinking about renovations on your home, and we at Verdi Home Improvements have started to notice a huge boom in our sales of conservatories and orangeries. What better time to expand your house than right before BBQ season, especially if you’re using said space for an extended dining area or outhouse! We have put together a small guide on what you need to be considering when thinking about a conservatory.

Space

When contemplating a conservatory, you obviously need to assess how much room you have to play with, but also how much room you want within the conservatory itself. Verdi can help advise you on how best to get the most out of the space you have already and will discuss various styles of conservatory with you.

Design

Which brings us on to design. Do you want a traditional or modern conservatory? Websites like Pinterest are fantastic for inspiration, but Verdi can help talk you through the different styles on offer, what will fit in with your current brickwork and so much more. Your dream conservatory can become a reality!

Price Part 1

With that in mind, we move on to price. Each conservatory will be just as unique as you are, and you should view your conservatory as an extension of your home, somewhere you create memories in, and something you can invest in. At Verdi, we pride ourselves on offering fantastic quality products at fantastic prices.

Price Part 2

Often overlooked but by no means less important is the price of the conservatory once it’s built. It won’t be hugely costly, but depending on what you do with your new room will depend on how much extra your running costs will be. Verdi however aim to reduce any extra spend, and our conservatories are energy efficient, retaining heat throughout the colder months, but keep you cool throughout the hotter months. So it’s a comfortable space for you to relax in all year round.

Usage

Once you’ve decided upon the exterior style of the conservatory, you can decide on the interior! What you do with your conservatory is entirely up to you, but we love them as dining rooms, play rooms, games rooms or a separate living area for when you just want a little bit of peace and quiet!
